Tuna & Avo Salad

Healthy Mumma Tuna & Avo Salad

Serves 2

Ingredients

100g Sashimi Grade Tuna cut into 2cm dice
30ml Tamari
30ml Mirin
1 Avocado, cut into small pieces
1/2 Lemon, juiced
Himalayan Pink Salt 
2 Sprigs of Spring Onion, cut very thinly
Sesame Seeds, toasted
Nori Sheets, julienned

Dressing
25ml Tamari
30ml Mirin
1 Teaspoon Rice Malt Syrup or your choice or Natural Sweetener
3cm Piece of Ginger, grated
25ml Olive Oil

    Method

    1. Mix tamari and mirin together until well combined add tuna and marinate for a minimum of 2 minutes.
    2. In a separate bowl, place pieces of avocado in a bowl, squeeze over the lemon juice and season with himalayan pink salt. Combine gently.
    3. In another bowl, combine all dressing ingredients together and mix well.
    4. To serve, place avocado in the bowl, top with marinated tuna, drizzle the dressing, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds, sliced spring onion and nori. Enjoy!
