Roast Meat Marinade

Healthy Mumma Roast Meat Marinade

Serves 4


Roast Meat, preferable Beef (your choice of meat and weight but generally 1-1.5kg feeds a family of 4)
2 Tablespoons French Mustard or Dijon Mustard
2 Tablespoons Seeded Mustard
2 Tablespoons Healthy Mumma Tomato Sauce (recipe in the first Healthy eBook)
2 Tablespoons Raw Coconut Sugar
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce (leave this out if you want a gluten and sugar free recipe)
1 Tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Clove Garlic, crushed

TIP: Look at the labels of your mustards to ensure no added sugars or nasties are present.


    1. Combine all ingredients into a bowl or container and mix well.
    2. Add your choice of roast meat and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
    3. Place the roast meat with all the marinade (optional: reserving some for a delicious gravy) into a roasting tray.
    4. Cook your roast on a temperature of 180C (fan forced) 200C (non fan forced) for an hour per kilo of meat. For example, a 1.5kg roast will need to be cooked for one and a half hours.
