Shower Cleaning/Mould Deterrent Spray
Ingredients
1 ¼ Cup Filtered Water
¼ Cup White Vinegar
30 Drops Tea Tree
20 Drops Peppermint
20 Drops Grapefruit
10 Drops Eucalyptus
Variation: Decrease Tea Tree to 15 drops and add 15 Drops Oregano for a Mould Deterrent Spray
Directions
Add all ingredients to a spray bottle, gently shake to combine. Spray the shower and bathtub after each use to prevent mildew.
Toilet & Bathtub Cleaner
Ingredients
½ Cup Baking Soda
All Purpose Cleaner (refer to recipe)
Directions
Sprinkle baking soda over the area. Spray using the All Purpose Cleaner and soak for 10 minutes. Scrub with a brush and rinse.
Grout Cleaner
Ingredients
½ Cup Baking Soda
½ Cup Thieves Household Cleaner
2 Tablespoons White Vinegar
5 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
Directions
Allow to fizz and set for 10 minutes. Apply mixture and scrub with a harsh brush. Rinse with warm water.
Toilet Bombs
Ingredients
1 Cup Baking Soda
1 ½ Cups Citric Acid
4 Teaspoons Water
10 Drops Citrus Fresh
1 Cap Thieves Household Cleaner
Directions
Combine all dry ingredients. In a spray bottle combine wet ingredients. Very slowly spray the liquid mix onto the dry and combine, careful not to activate the citric acid. Fill ice cube tray about ¾ full. Gently repack into the mould if expands. Leave to dry overnight then store in a glass jar. Place in toilet and let it work its magic.
Toilet Deodorizer
Ingredients
4 Teaspoons Sweet Almond Oil
30 Drops Ylang Ylang
30 Drops Peppermint
10 Drops Tea Tree
5 Drops Bergamot
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a dropper bottle. Add 5 to 10 drops to the toilet as needed for a fresh smell.
Toilet Cleaner
Ingredients
1 Cup Bicarb Soda
1 Capful Thieves Household Cleaner
200ml Boiled Water (Hot)
150ml Castile Soap
Directions
Add ingredients into heat proof jug to mix together. Mix until bicarb soda has become runny. Add to a squirt bottle of choice. We love to repurpose an empty Thieves Dish Soap bottle for this DIY.
*bicarb soda will settle to the bottle, shake before each use and if the squirt top hardens with product, just submerge in hot water to remove build up.
